"Lacoll" is the Italian way of shortening the word "La Collezione".
Founded in 2006, by designer extraordinaire Gyongyver, or simply "Gen" for the timid ones, the goal was and still is,
to create amazing garments and accessories for women.
Having worked extensively in Milan for a range of prominent brands, Gen decided one day to swap the life of a hectic Milanese designer
for a more mellow life in scooter-ridden Ho Chi Minh City, teaching fashion design. Or at least, that's what she thought at the time…
Turns out, that being in Vietnam stirred up a second wind in Gen for designing and for creating the things, she so much loved to do in Milan.
But instead of working for some outrageous ego, all too common within the big fashion houses, Lacoll is about doing great work for the
love of it and about contributing with what we can in a positive way, to the people we come into contact with.
Sure, it sounds a bit fluffy, but honestly it guides us on all aspects of what we do.
It's our way of being able to do great work, while treating our employees and partners the way we would like to be treated and about
coming up with products, that exceed our customers' and our own expectations.
 
   
 
  Its really, really simple. So simple, we've made it into an equation for you and that is:
Honesty + Creativity + Consciousness = Lacoll.
We know, we know, the words when added together don't actually spell "Lacoll", it spells something like
"So any eccentric hotness visits you?" if you turn it into an anagram or "hnstcrtvtcnscsnss" if you take away all the vowels.
But seriously, we really do want to do good here in life and here on Earth.
